Made to Order - Stripey Pet Treat Jar with Lid.

Approximately 16 - 17cm height (without handle), diameter 11 - 12cm. As each piece is handmade please allow for up to 0.5cm difference.

Please note you are purchasing a made to order item that has not yet been created. Once purchased, please allow approximately 6-8 weeks for your pet treat jar to be made and finished. In many cases orders may be completed sooner, however this timeframe allows for the full making and firing process.

Please select your chosen glaze from the available options and enter your pet's name in the text box. If ordering more than one and you'd like a different glaze colour for each jar, please add them to your cart individually so you can specify the glaze and name for each one.

Please specify if you'd like the name pressed directly onto the jar or if you'd like this within a circle or bone shape. Include your pet's name, whether you would like this in upper or lower case letters. Please also add if you'd like to include a single paw print underneath the name. Hook images are to give an idea of the glaze colour options.

Please note that as this piece is made to order and has not yet been created, if purchased alongside any ready-made ceramics, your order will be shipped together once all items are complete and ready to send.

As each piece is handmade, the product you purchase can vary slightly from the image shown. Due to the nature of handmade ceramics, each piece has its own unique charm.

How it's made

All of our ceramics are handmade in our pottery studio in Lincolnshire, UK. Each piece is created in small batches of around 20 and carefully formed over a two-day period.

Once shaped, the pieces are left to dry slowly for about a week before their first firing in the kiln at 1000°C. This firing removes any remaining moisture from the clay and permanently transforms it into ceramic.

After the first firing, each piece is glazed by hand. Depending on the design, glazes are either brushed on or the piece is dipped to achieve the desired finish. The ceramics are then fired a second time, reaching temperatures between 1220 - 1240°C.

From start to finish, a single piece can take up to four weeks to complete — a slow-made process that allows time and care at every stage.
